Lil’ Wayne’s Carter V Tops Charts, Pulls in Second Largest Streaming Week Ever

After years of wondering if the Carter V would ever see the light of day, music fans everywhere appear to be tuning into Lil’ Wayne’s first studio album since 2011. The Carter V is set to debut at number one on the Billboard 200, and also pulled in the second-biggest streaming week ever for an album, with 433 million on-demand audio streams logged for its songs in its first week, falling only behind label-mate Drake’s Scorpion, released in July.┬áIt’s been a while since we’ve had any Lil’ Wayne here on VZA, so we’ll throw back to the 2011 Bruno Mars collaboration Mirror.
