Drake Passes Beatles With 12th Charted Single of 2018

Another of The Beatles longstanding chart records has fallen, and once again it’s Drake who is the culprit. Featuring on Peurto Rican rapper “Bad Bunny’s” newly released single “MIA” which debuted at number five on the charts this week puts Drizzy at 12 appearances on the Billboard singles chart on the year. The Beatles charted 11 singles in 1964 at the height of Beatlemania. While contemporary artist have launched an assault on the Beatles’ records, the group still has two (major) high-water marks that won’t be getting upended any time soon: the most albums and singles at the top of the charts by any artist. And now for one of the best music videos ever made, Drake’s “God’s Plan.”
